Smart Identification for CCA and IMT

This function provides real-time support for clinicians during scans, which will help more people use ultrasound. The color turns red when CCA  appears and green when IMT appears. In the future more AI identification will be invented to expand the application.

Observe the common carotid artery horizontally and longitudinally. The longitudinal ultrasound imaging of the posterior wall of the common carotid artery can be seen as two parallel bright lines separated by relatively low echo, that is, a "double-line" image. The inner line is the dividing line between the inner membrane and the lumen, and the outer line is the dividing line between the middle and outer membranes, and the distance between them is the IMT.

The thickness of the carotid artery intima-media is normally less than 1mm. If the thickness is more than 1mm, it indicates the risk of myocardial infarction or cerebrovascular disease. The diagnosis of arteriosclerosis is generally judged from the thickness of the carotid artery intima-media, which is higher. It will cause arteriosclerosis.
